Admission Requirements
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Cumulative GPA : 2,00/4,00
Graduate Admission Exams : GRE – min. 950 (Verbal + Quantitative)
English Proficiency : TOEFL IBT – 80 (Writing – min. 4)
TOEFL CBT – 210 (Writing – min. 4)
IELTS – min. 6,5
APPLICATION PROCESS
All candidates are required to apply online and then deliver the documents to ŞEHİR. Candidates should make sure that documents to be uploaded are ready before applying online. Documents can be uploaded in the following formats: MS Word, PDF, JPEG, GIF. Uploaded documents and entered information are saved in the system permanently and cannot be deleted, changed or corrected once online application has been completed.
ONLINE APPLICATION
Following documents are to be uploaded to the system:
- A scanned copy of Transcript(s)
- Statement of Purpose (see FAQ for the content of SOP)
- CV (resumé)
- A passport photo
- GRE Score
- English Proficiency Score

SUBMISSION of DOCUMENTS (Hard-copies)
Submission deadline for all documents is 5 days after the online application (June 8th, 2011). No document received after the submission deadline will be considered. Documents can be submitted in person or by mail (no fax or e-mail). Original documents are required to register in a graduate program.
- An official copy of transcript(s) (in a sealed envelope)
- Diploma/interim certificate of graduation (copy) or proof of enrollment (for senior undergraduate students)
- GRE grade report (copy)
- English Proficiency score (copy)
- Two letters of recommendation (see FAQ for submission of letters)
- A copy of the passport
- Sample work (one or two papers; if available)
- Two passport photos
Reference letters can be sent by either of two ways. If sent via mail, reference letters should be enveloped and sealed. If sent via e-mail, they should be sent to sbe@sehir.edu.tr
