Master: Politics and Economics of Contemporary Eastern and South Eastern Europe, University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki‏



Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies, University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki is offering for the academic year 2012/2013

a Master’s degree in Politics and Economics of Contemporary Eastern and South Eastern Europe.



Programme Aims:

o prepare students for careers in businesses, government, NGOs and international organizations operating in SEE,

o strengthen the skills and deepen the specialized knowledge of people already following such careers,

o prepare students for PhD study.

The programme promotes and strengthens research in the area of Eastern and SEE, involving the graduate students in relevant research projects.



Language of instruction: English

Duration: The programme lasts 13 months, but may be extended to 15 months under special circumstances.

Fees: € 3000.

Scholarships: The program offers a financial aid to international students with a strong academic record. Also, a limited number waivers of tuition fees, per semester, are available for students with excellent results on semester exams
