Master: MA in Historical sociology, Charles University, Prague‏

I would like to drew your attention to the fact that the Master
program in Historical Sociology at Charles University is to be
taught also in English from the next school year which may be useful
information not only for your students but also for you in view of
our effort to establish more international, to English speakers
opened, institutional platform for this particular field of study
and research in Prague. The study program is a two-year one. Roughly
half of the subjects are theoretical; the other half focuses on
learning research methods and techniques. Thematically, the program
deals with modernization and social change, religious and cultural
pluralism, globalization trends and effects and integrating and
disintegrating processes. Central European location marks the
program as taking place in the region and society still in the mid
of intensive social change and dealing with the consequences of
somehow chaotic and dubious transformation and the previous
communist past.
