Eligibility:
1.Have a bachelor’s degree in English, Mathematics, or Science subjects with a teacher training degree;
2.be a full time teacher (6th to 12th grades) with five or more years of experience in a recognized secondary school; and
3.must be eligible to obtain leave with pay during the period of exchange.
Scholarship Open for International Students: Yes (India)

Scholarship Description: The Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program will provide opportunities to up to eight Indian secondary school teachers (6th to 12th grades) of English, Mathematics, or Science to participate in direct exchange of positions with US teachers for the semester beginning August/September 2013, pending availability of funds. Indian teachers selected for this exchange will have the opportunity to work within a US school system and experience US society and culture. Similarly, US teachers will work in an Indian school and share their expertise. The exchange will benefit both the Indian and US teachers and their students, schools and communities.
